The Cudi Collection

This project is directly inspired by the artist Kid Cudi's album: The Man on the Moon. Since my freshman year in high school Kid Cudi's music has influenced the way I live my life and the way I create art that excites me. The album deals with many dark subjects, yet Cudi's storytelling combined with the psychedelic nature of the beats creates an exciting experience. To relay the atmosphere of the album, I decided to take nighttime photographs and experimented with long exposures. I wanted these images to create a surreal space the viewer can explore. Each photograph in this series relates to a selected song on the album.
